Who develops ITRC training materials and who are the instructors?
The curricula for training courses are primarily based on guidance document(s) developed by consensus-based ITRC technical teams made up of various sectors of the environmental community. ITRC technical teams develop guidance documents and training courses to meet the information needs of regulatory staff, technology vendors, and environmental consultants. These products help state environmental agencies gain valuable technical knowledge and develop consistent regulatory approaches for reviewing and approving innovative technologies and approaches. State regulators lead ITRC technical teams, which rely on broad-based participation from state and federal agencies, industry, academia, and other stakeholders in building collective knowledge and collaborative products.
