Who determines when a resident will move to a different level of health care or receive additional health services?
Such a determination is based on the physical and mental health and safety of the resident. The decision to transfer a resident to a different level of health care is made by Brandon Wilde’s Medical Director, Director of Nursing and the Executive Director using a professional assessment procedure. Such a move is made only after consultation to the extent practical with the resident and the resident’s family and physician.
