Who determines when a person can no longer do two of the things required to be eligible for long-term care? Is my Care Advisor my medical doctor or Long Term Care Group?
The Care Advisor makes the determination of whether you can perform the Activities of Daily Living. The Care Advisor will conduct a face to face interview with you in your home and consult with your medical doctor and your family. The Care Advisor is not your medical doctor nor an employee of Long Term Care Group or the HP Group Long-Term Care Plan. The Care Advisor is a third party who has contracted with Long Term Care Group.
