Who determines the policies for .au second level domains?

0

The Australian community sets the policies, via a policy development process administered by auDA. The existing policies for com.au were set several years ago. They were not set by auDA, nor by the current com.au Registrar, Internet Names WorldWide (a division of Melbourne IT). The original policy was written by Robert Elz, and can be found at ftp://munnari.oz.au/netinfo/COM.AU-policy. auDA has commenced a review of the policies that follows auDA’s Advisory Panel process – details available at www.auda.org.au/panel.html.
