Who decides which students receive additional supports?
The RtI process is data driven. Instructional decisions are generated by data analysis teams. They determine goals and monitor progress of entire grades (grade level teams) or analyze the need for student specific interventions of various intensities (student-centered teams). The teams analyze screening, progress monitoring and other data to guide decision making.
