Who decides which businesses can be built in our city?
The City requires all business to register with the State and obtain a business license. However, each business reviews the demographics of a particular area and decides as a corporation whether to locate in a particular city. Centerville does not decide whether a business can or cannot locate in the City. However, the City does decide where commercial and industrial zones ought to be for businesses to locate in general.
