Who decides whether to settle for a lesser amount than the full judgment value?
I do – but like you – I want to get as much as I possibly can from the Debtor. I usually (sometimes eventually) get the full value – or close to the full value of the Judgment. Although I am not legally required to do so – as a courtesy – I will let you know if the Debtor attempts to settle with me.
