Who decides when an ALERT Cadet has completed a requirement?
The father makes the ultimate decisions as to when his son has completed a requirement or project. For accountability, he may want his son to also review portions of the handbook with his unit leader. In this way a father may make adjustments to the materials to meet specific physical or mental challenges in a young man’s life. Fathers may have their handbook work checked by their son(s), and then by their unit leader for accountability.
