Who decides to resurface a particular street?

0

Anyone can request that a particular street be inspected for resurfacing. We receive requests from private citizens, Community Boards, elected officials and our own workforce as they move throughout the City each day. Streets are rated based upon the level of surface distress, and are prioritized in consultation with Community Boards and elected officials. They are scheduled based upon clearance of planned utility work, public events and other scheduled capital improvements. For the most up to date information of resurfacing work, check our Weekly Resurfacing Schedule.
