Who decides the Easter Date?
To answer that question you must realise that Easter follows on from an older Jewish festival. The early church celebrated Easter on different days of the week, until 325 A.D. when the Easter Rule that “Easter shall be celebrated on the first Sunday after the first full moon on or after the vernal equinox” was adopted by the Council of Nicaea. This means that the actual date for Easter can be as early as the 22nd March or as late as 25th April. Easter Greetings and peaceful wishes to you all.
