Who creates the National Curriculum?
The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) creates it. Their website is www.qca.org.uk QCA are responsible for the following: 1. maintaining and developing the national curriculum and associated assessments, tests and examinations. They keep it under review, to evaluate its appropriateness and relevance to the changing needs of learners and society. 2. Accrediting and monitoring qualifications in colleges and at work. 3. Regulating the public examination system so that it is responsive to the needs of learners and society. 4. Development, delivery and administration of high-quality national tests.
