Who created the Sequer?

0

The Sequer is the brainchild of Richard Armin, software designer, Michael White, programmer, rhythm expert Alan Hetherington, music teacher Rich Roach, and composer Shaun Elder. The software was created for the Virtual Music program at the Royal Conservatory, and was made possible through the support of the Canada TELUS New Media Learning Fund. The music in the musical examples was composed by Shaun Elder, with Alan Hetherington supplying some of the rhythm tracks. Pablo Joseph and Gilles Gagnon are Toronto-based musicians who have helped to develop the classroom version of the program, currently offered in Toronto and Calgary. Some of their ideas are included in our YouTube videos (www.youtube.com/shauncomposer).
