Who created Sweet Gwendoline?
The character of Sweet Gwendoline was created by John Willie. Gwen is perhaps the most famous damsel in distress character, her adventures have been translated to many languages and she was even the subject of a motion picture. You can read Willie’s original Gwendoline comics by ordering them from Belier Press. Artists such as Eric Stanton, Franco Saudelli, Wicz and others have created their own comics about Gwendoline. Osvaldo wanted to pay tribute to this great character by creating more comics about her, just as others have done.
