Who counts as a primary care provider?
For the purposes of the DOHMH project, primary care providers are defined as pediatrics, family practice, adolescent, internal, obstetrics/gynecological and geriatric medicine. “Primary Care Provider” is defined as individual Physicians (MD), Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistants (PA), and Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), who provide primary care clinical services for the stakeholder organization.
