Who could veto care for kids?
One Guess. At some point, you have to wonder if President Bush has simply lost his bearings. He is about as popular these days as a skin rash. And he keeps doing things to make it worse. This week, his target was the nearly 9 million American kids who lack basic health insurance. Most of them are the children of the working poor, or near-poor — the janitors and cashiers and truck drivers who keep this country humming.
