Who could give me tips on photography?
You are not an idiot if you are asking for help. The smartest words I ever spoke or ever heard are “I don’t know”. There is plenty of free advice online. One of the things you need to do is watch your composition. Take the frame and divide it up into thirds – where those lines intersect is where the focus of the subject should be. Watch your lighting too – photography means “painting with light”. Be sure to know your camera’s operation very well. Know what “white balance” is and use it when taking your pictures if you are using a digital camera. Look at the great masters of photography and painting and see what they did that makes them great. Read books on and by great photographers, and check out the website by Ken Rockwell – it is loaded with information and recommended books to read. Email me some of your pictures if you can.
