Who could be sorry to see John Ashcroft leaving public office especially the office he holds?
Only a fool. Ashcroft is the most hideous man ever in a presidential cabinet. His background as an attorney was disgusting and it was extraordinary that he ever was cleared by the Senate to hold the office of Attorney General. Ashcroft took such relish in the security requirements of the September 11th Attack that if you were paranoid, you might think this attack was made in heaven for him. The Patriot is his love toy. He wanted this before the attacks took place. Ashcroft, like his President, are both members of the Evangelical Fundamentalist movement.
