Who controls the requirements of AS9100?
^ Top ^ The AS9100 standard is administratively controlled by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Requirements are developed based on input from several sources, including two key organizations that have championed the cause of an international aerospace-specific standard in recent years, the AAQG (Americas Aerospace Quality Group) and the IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group). Both organizations have representatives from some of the largest aerospace companies both in the United States and worldwide, including Boeing, GE, Rolls Royce, Lockheed Martin, United Technologies and many others.
