Who constructs Hansen Pole Buildings?
We are not contractors in any state. It is up to you to either construct the building yourself (which is what most people do), or to hire a contractor to do the work. Our pole buildings are designed with the “weekend warrior” in mind. The average person should not have difficulty constructing our kit, even as a complete novice. We do not suggest you undertake a particularly large building (over 40 feet in width or 16 foot or greater eave height) or one with an unusual configuration, as your first pole building project. To ease your pre-construction anxiety, we provide two-foot by three-foot, five or more page plans drawn specifically for your building. We also furnish a detailed material list and our state-of-the-art illustrated construction manual. For quick construction, our building kits usually use pre-fabricated roof trusses, including the endwalls (no rafters to cut).
