Who conducts the Competency Evaluation (CNA 1 TEST) In NC?
The state has contracted with Pearson Vue to offer the State-Approved Nurse Aide I Competency Testing and reports candidate’s test results to the NC Nurse Aide I Registry. The Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Service (NACES) works with Pearson VUE to schedule and administer tests. State-approved Nurse Aide 1 training programs can schedule their students for testing, or the individual candidates can schedule themselves.
