If an initial $250,000 is raised for the project, the Smithsonian APA Program will hire a scholar to work with the APA Program Director Dr. Franklin Odo. The HomeSpun Advisory Council, the Operations Committee, and the Homespun working group (volunteers from the community) will be invited to help conceptualize the exhibit, identify potential exhibit artifacts, and promote the project to the larger community.
