The Minerals Management Service (MMS) receives royalty payments from oil and gas companies. MMS collects and verifies the payments, then passes these payments to the Office of Special Trustee for American Indians (OST) and the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) for final processing and payment to individual Indian owners. The MMS, OST and BIA work together to provide your Oil and Gas Payment Report. You can use this report to help you understand your royalty payments.
