Who chose the Blue Ribbon Commissioners?
FCPS Cluster III leaders, Instructional Services staff, the TJHSST admissions coordinator, and the school principal identified criteria for BRC membership (leaders of highly selective high schools, deans of admission from highly selective universities, and national public policy experts). A list was developed of persons fitting those criteria; calls were made to invite participation; and the Commission was formed.
