We then conduct checks on general background information (previous landlord, employer, other personal references), verify income, history of bounced checks, and also check for any derogatory information relative to police records, arrests, or bankruptcies or foreclosures. Our experience over many years has taught us that properly screening tenants is the most important step in successfully managing your home.
