Who changes my meter over to one that reads energy import and export?
Upon installing a solar power system on your residence, your standard electricity meter needs to be changed. This meter change is required so the electricity distributors have the capacity to record both incoming electricity from the mains grid, but now also exported electricity from the solar system. The electricity distributor (owner of poles and wires), will typically change your meter over, however it can also be done by a Level 2 accredited service provider.
