Who can vote for the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial (CSAP)?
• 18 years of age on ordinary polling day; • Canadian citizen on ordinary polling day; • Three months residency in the Province of Nova Scotia prior to ordinary polling day • “Entitled Parent” – A parent who is a citizen of Canada and: (i) whose first language learned and still understood is French, (ii) who received his or her primary school instruction in Canada in a French-first-language program, or (iii) of whom any child has received or is receiving primary or secondary school instruction in Canada in a French-first-language program; • “Entitled Person” – an entitled parent or a person who, not being a parent, would be an entitled parent if the person were a parent.
