During the Spring 2008 pilot, only residents of the North Residence Halls will be able to use the UMass VoIP service to send and receive calls. However, anyone can call someone in the VoIP pilot, from on-campus or off, using a traditional or VoIP phone, . OIT plans on rolling this service out to the campus over the next several years.
