Who Can Use Title “Master Gardener?
” The title “Master Gardener” can be used only and exclusively in the Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program. It may not be used for commercial purposes. Persons are expected to identify themselves as Master Gardeners only when performing volunteer work in this program. To retain active status as a Master Gardener, a person must volunteer the required minimum number of hours annually, keep active in volunteer activities and attend supplemental training and monthly meetings.
