Who can use the e-Channels to enter and leave Hong Kong?
Both Hong Kong permanent residents whose identity card bearing the symbol of “A” and people who have the right to land in Hong Kong are permitted to use the e-Channels. Non-permanent residents or temporary residents may also use the e-Channels, but they need to bring along their travel documents and go to an immigration counter for the formalities first.
