Who can use interlibrary loan?
Service is available to any member of the University community who needs material for an academic research project or course-related assignment. Those eligible for the service include: · Faculty · Currently-enrolled students · Staff · Faculty spouses and domestic partners · Alumni with current borrowing privileges (Maximum of 10 concurrent ILL requests) · Proxy borrowers for University Faculty members (See instructions below for setting up an ILL proxy account, or write us at interlibrary-loan@lib.uchicago.edu for assistance.) Note: Guest borrowers (i.e., those who have purchased borrowing privileges at the library) do not have interlibrary loan privileges. Please request items through your corporate or public library.
