Hire an authorized transporter to transport the home to the new site after securing a moving permit and/or installation permit from the local building code official having jurisdiction over the new site. The mobile home installation building permit cannot be issued without the completed pre-requisite rehabilitation certification form pre-approved and signed by the Division of Building Safety. • Who may install the home at the new site? Hire a licensed installer to re-install the home at the new site.
