Special preparation is required to be qualified to teach the Basic Language Skills curriculum. When appropriate, the Parent Resource Office refers parents to CALTs, Neuhaus-trained dyslexia specialists, or individuals working to complete the Dyslexia Specialist Preparation Program (DSPP). These referrals are specifically for the BLS curriculum or components of the BLS curriculum.
