Who can take the Phlebotomy course?
The Phlebotomy course, MLT1040C, is offered every semester and is open to all students that are 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED. The student must also test into college-level English, reading and math on the CPT placement test OR have a TABE score of Gr.10. How much does the course cost? The course is 3 college credits and there is a lab fee. Each credit hour is $69.30 and the lab fee with insurance is $42.00. There is also a cost for books and supplies. Do you have to take any pre-requisite courses? A pre-requisite course is a class that you must take to get into another class. You must have a TABE score of Gr.10, OR must pass 3 sections of the CPT.
