Who can submit a termination notice to the agency?
• For training and fellowship awards (except for federal and foreign fellowships) only the Business Official can submit a termination notice. • For federal or foreign fellowships, the PD/PI (fellow) or Sponsor can submit the termination notice. For K12, KL2, R25, R90 and KM1 appointments, if the termination notice form is required (grantees for these programs should check their Notice of Award to determine whether their awarding Institute/Center requires the use of the termination notice), only the PD/PI can submit the form.
