Who can set up a Direct Debit Instruction to pay a student’s tuition fees?
As well as the student themselves, a parent, guardian, relative or friend can set up a Direct Debit Instruction to pay tuition fees. They must, however, complete and sign the Direct Debit mandate or give the details over the telephone (0161 275 5000 Option 4) themselves. All details of payments, unpaid instalments and levies will be sent directly to the person who has set up the mandate so that it is important that they notify colleagues in the Fees and Registration Team in the Student Services Centre ssc@manchester.ac.uk of any change of address.
