Who can rent a van from the Department of Campus Life?
Campus Life vans may be rented by employees of the Division of Student Affairs, by students affiliated with registered Student Affairs student organizations, and by authorized guests. Vans are available to rent only for official University business. A number of qualifiers apply; please see “Restrictions” below. Picking up the Van Your van will be gassed, washed, and cleaned when you pick it up. Most vans have mats that should be kept on the floors. Please try to protect the seats and interior walls from such things as muddy shoes/clothing and firewood by the use of tarps, etc. If a vehicle is returned excessively dirty, a clean-up fee will be charged to your account. You will be given a van rental notebook when you check-out your van. A gas credit card will be included in the contents of this notebook. The van keys and rental notebook can be picked up during business hours in Room 121 of the Tate Student Center. For most weekend trips, these will be available after 1:00 pm on Fridays.
