Who can register for Syracuse University classes through Project Advance?
Students who have successfully completed prerequisite high school coursework are eligible to register for college courses. Syracuse University courses offered through Project Advance are most appropriate for students with at least a B average (overall and in the particular subject area) and demonstrated willingness to work hard. Courses are normally restricted to qualified high school seniors. However, students in their junior year are sometimes allowed to enroll in Project Advance sections with approval from the appropriate Project Advance administrator and University faculty coordinator. Students should speak to Project Advance instructors in their school or to their counselors if they have questions about their readiness for these courses. To receive SU credit, students must register and pay the required tuition.
