To register, you must be a United States citizen, at least 17 years of age, and live in Maine. If you are a 17-year-old who will be 18 by the November 2, 2010 General Election, you are eligible to vote in the June 8, 2010 Primary Election. You must be registered to vote and enrolled in a party to participate in this election. To vote in a Referendum or General Election, you must be registered in the community where you reside, and be at least 18 years of age.
