Who can register a patients nomination?

Anyone who has an individually registered Smartcard and a User Role Profile which allows them to update the patient’s PDS record can set the patient’s nomination. Over time patients will also be able to set their own nomination using the secure website HealthSpace (www.healthspace.nhs.uk).
