Who can receive At Home Residential Habilitation?
In order to receive this service, the family must have a Medicaid Service Coordinator.At-Home Residential Habilitation provides the disabled person with skills training at their home. Staff members follow a plan or schedule and work on a variety of independent living skills. One caretaker has to be present during service hours. At-Home Residential Habilitation builds on enhancing the consumers’ independence. This service is different from a Home Attendant or Home Health Aid.
