Who can receive a service from Neami?
Neami offers support and rehabilitation to people aged between 16-64 who have a serious mental illness and enduring psychiatric disability. They must live in the catchment area’s for which Neami is funded. Consumers in Victoria and South Australia can make a self-referral or be referred by their family, friends, doctor, psychiatrist or other health professional. Consumers in New South Wales are generally referred by the local Area Mental Health Service.
