Who can purchase from Surplus Stores as an Agency?
Surplus Stores is open to purchases from Agencies on a daily basis (the public is only able to purchase during our public sales. Here is a list of units that qualify as agencies: • WSU departments and research units. • Departments from other public schools and universities. • Government agencies (local, state and federal). • Non-profit organizations that are approved by the IRS as 501(c)3 organizations • Fraternities and Sororities that are registered as 501(c)3’s. • Churches and community groups that are registered as 501(c)3’s. If an individual works for one of these organizations and wants to make a purchase for themselves instead of for the organization, they must come to our public sales.
