The Sherlock* TLS is designed for use by healthcare providers. Federal (U.S.A.) law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician. The Sherlock* TLS is designed for use by clinicians that place central venous catheters. This may include nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants and interventional radiology technologists.
