We expect that HR teams within local authorities will have the necessary expertise to advise on the TUPE process in general. TUPE guidance will also be issued along with the letters that will be sent to schools and LAs once an application to convert has been approved. In addition this, schools can get any specialist legal/HR advice which they feel might be needed to carry out their TUPE responsibilities.
