Who can practice Taekwondo?

Just about everyone–children, teens, and adults. We also have several families who train together. Master Steinhauser recommends that children should be at least 5 years old to start. Q: I have a previous injury/medical condition. Can I still train? A: Definitely. Taekwondo can be very strenuous, but you can take it at your own pace, as much as your injury would allow. Q: How do I sign up? A: Call SOCATKDA at (562) 533-5305 or email Master Steinhauser for more information. Q: Where can I buy my uniform, and how much is it? A: You can purchase the uniform with our school patch when you sign up with Master Steinhauser. They are $35.00 for size 000-3, and $40.00 for size 4-7. Master Steinhauser will help you figure out the size then. Q: What is the fee for the class? A: $50.00 per month, for as many classes as you can attend. Q: Tests? What tests? A: In order to progress in rank, you will be tested on the skills you’ve learned in class. Testing takes place every 3 months. Black Belt test
