Who can participate in the Service Excellence Recognition Program?
Any Alberta public service organization falling under the Alberta Public Service Act, such as a department, division, branch, unit, committee, or cross-government or departmental project team, is eligible to participate in the program. The following Agencies, Boards and Commissions are also eligible: • Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission • Alberta Environmental Appeal Board • Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission • Energy and Utilities Board • Natural Resources Conservation Board Additionally, individual team members need not be Alberta Public Service Employees. Multiple departments can participate as one team. However, you will have to work out how your ADMs wish to be involved, and whether your deputies will make a joint submission for recognition of your team.
