Who can obtain a CIC? How can I get more information on CICs?
In general, under guidelines established by the industry for the assignment of CICs, CICs are assigned to entities who purchase access from a LEC, use the access already obtained by another carrier, or are LECs. The assignment of CICs is administered by the North American Numbering Plan Administration (NANPA).
