Who can monitor and supervise the recovery of a patient?
A. Licensed health care providers are required to monitor the recovery of a patient who has been given anesthesia. A physician, osteopathic physician, physician assistant (PA), or a licensed registered nurse (RN) with post-anesthesia training and experience must be available.
