Who can make changes to a nameserver(-record)?

Only the owner (i.e. the person who created the nameserver) will be able to make modifications. Please be aware: • to find out who is allowed to administer a nameserver, use ‘Search Whois’ with the domain as target (Example: nameserver “ns.joker.com” can only by administered by those who show up when you use ‘Search Whois’ for “joker.com”). • if the domain of the nameserver (not your domain) is not under the TLD com – net, no ip-address is needed (nor is a change of the ip-address). • if the domain of the nameserver is under the TLD com – net, check first if the responsible registrar is JORE-1 (Joker.com) Only if we are noted as responsible registrar, changes can be made through Joker.com. Use our “Search Whois” at Joker.com to check.
