Who can learn Taekwondo?
Anyone can learn Taekwondo. We accept students as young as 4 years old and have had students start as old as 70. 5. How do I register for classes? There are multiple options for registration, get more information right here! 6. What equipment do I need to start Taekwondo? To start Taekwondo all you need is a uniform and we have them on hand for purchase. Once the student reaches the sparring level (about 6 months) they will be required to have a mouthpiece and safety equipment. Male students should also have a cup and supporter. Safety equipment is available through Waunakee Black Belt Academy. 7. How many classes should I come to a week? You should try to make it to at least two classes a week if your schedule allows. You are welcome to come to as many of the classes for your rank and age you would like. 8. What do I wear to my first class? For your first class you should wear sweatpants or wind pants and a t-shirt. We can get you fitted for an uniform before or after your first class
